Catherine's feelings
I think that Catherine feels she doesn't belong in her life. She feels that she isn't supposed to be there. In the story on page 135 the author Cynthia lord wrote "I don't belong in completely in either world" This quote sur prised me and it shows that Catherine is insecure and how she feels about her life. I realized that Catherine is really stuck between her two lives and she doesn't want to open up to people about it. If she opened up to people everything might not feel so bad. I learned that if you have to hide something from people close to you chances are that they will eventually find out about it.

I agree with you Ellen, that Catherine is insecure about her and her lifestyle. I think that because since she spends a lot of time with David and Jason, she doesn't act like everyone else, and they all excpect her to.
